Note	Fille de Marie de Guise et de Jacques V d'Ecosse, elle est élevée à la cour de France après avoir été fiancée au dauphin. Elle reçoit un éducation très soignée et devient l'une des princesses les plus cultivées de son temps. Après le règne très bref de son mari, elle doit regagner l'Ecosse.
