He married Catherine-Polyxène von SOLMS-RÖDELHEIM, daughter of Georges Louis von SOLMS-RÖDELHEIM and Charlotte Sibylle von AHLEFELD, on November 27, 1726. Louise von LEININGEN-HEIDESHEIM, daughter of Christian-Charles von LEININGEN-HEIDESHEIM and Catherine-Polyxène von SOLMS-RÖDELHEIM, was born on March 16, 1729 and died on March 11, 1818 at the age of 88.
