   1. Frédéric de FOIX, son of Gaston de FOIX and Marthe d'ASTÉRAC, was born in 1510 and died in 1571 at the age of 61. He married Françoise de LA ROCHEFOUCAULD, daughter of François Ii de LA ROCHEFOUCAULD and Anne de POLIGNAC, in 1540. She was born in 1525 and died in 1583 at the age of 58.

   1. Henri de FOIX, comte de Candale, son of Frédéric de FOIX and Françoise de LA ROCHEFOUCAULD, was born in 1545 and died in 1572 at the age of 27. He married Marie de MONTMORENCY, daughter of Anne de MONTMORENCY and Madeleine de SAVOIE, in 1567.

   1. Marguerite de FOIX, comtesse de Candalle, daughter of Henri de FOIX and Marie de MONTMORENCY, was born in 1567 and died in 1593 at the age of 26. She married Jean-Louis de NOGARET, son of Jean de NOGARET and Jeanne de SAINT-LARY, in 1587. He was born in 1554 and died in 1642 at the age of 88.

   1. Bernard de NOGARET, duc d'Epernon, son of Jean-Louis de NOGARET and Marguerite de FOIX, was born in 1592 and died in 1661 at the age of 69. He married 2 times. The first time he married Gabrielle Angélique de BOURBON, daughter of Henri Iv Le Grand de BOURBON and Catherine Henriette de BALZAC, in 1622. She was born on January 21, 1603 and died on April 29, 1627 at the age of 24. The second time he married Marie du CAMBOUT in 1634. She died in 1691.
